How MyDealNinja selects and checks online deals

How MyDealNinja chooses online offers, labels each store and country, handles expiry dates and affiliate links, and what shoppers should check before buying.

Our Deals page is a short list of offers from retailers, with the store and applicable country shown on each card. We choose items that look useful to shoppers in the markets we currently cover. This page explains what that review means and where you should make your own checks.

What we check before listing an offer

We open the retailer's product page, check that the link leads to the named item, and record the store, country, category and a short factual note. When a retailer marks an item as a sale or limited-time offer, we check that claim on its page before listing it. We set an expiry date so an old card drops out of the live list.

Offers can change after that check. Stock, sizes, delivery areas, seller, bank discounts and the final checkout price are controlled by the retailer. A listing date is the limit for displaying a card; it is not a promise that the offer will remain available until then. Follow the retailer link and review the final terms before buying.

What a listing does not mean

  • We do not claim that an item has the lowest price on the internet.
  • We do not test every listed product or certify its quality.
  • We do not sell the item, take payment, set delivery terms or handle returns.
  • We do not call a discount genuine solely because a crossed-out price is shown.

To judge a price for yourself, compare the exact model across stores and, if possible, against its recent normal selling price. Our guide to spotting fake discounts explains common sale tactics. The festive sale checklist covers bank offers, sellers and returns.

Affiliate links and corrections

Some links earn MyDealNinja a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate status does not change the fact that the retailer controls the offer. We label sponsored links in the page code and disclose the relationship on the site.

If an item is gone, the country is wrong, or a claim no longer matches the retailer page, use the “Report a problem” link on its card or contact us. We can correct or remove a listing. Browse the current Deals page to see what is shown now.

Prices, offers and job listings change. Always check the retailer's or employer's own page before you buy or apply.
